Below, lots of impromptu meals outside since dragging them in to eat is a battle not worth fighting at the moment.
This morning we walked to the farmer's market (amazing!) and couldn't resist putting our toes in the sand on the walk home.
Water was warmer this week---the kids couldn't care less if it had a sheet of ice on top, but Pat made it up to his knees!
The view of Old Mission Peninsula.
Another meal al fresco; this one with a gritty after taste.
Margot ponders the next move...
I had a discussion with friends recently, "what's the best way for the kids to entertain themselves outside?" A water table was a recurring answer, so Pat begrudgingly assembled it and the kids approved! (I thought this route would keep the kids drier than an actual kiddie pool, but as you might expect, the yellow cup was over Margot's head in no time.)
Another summer treat...with repetition, Tommy has almost graduated to be able to enjoy one in the house.
Headed back out! ;)
looks heavenly!!!!
