Something about the best laid plans?

John Steinbeck would be proud. We've had an interesting couple of weeks. Where to begin....? To make a long story short, Jen is essentially on bed rest and we've decided to take our place off the market.

It seems that the little one has decided that a due date of Feb 4th is too far away. At 24+ weeks this is SLIGHTLY too soon, so we're doing our best to head his/her idea off at the pass. The advice from Jen's doc was "no more than 6 hours of work per day, and always be sitting down." Given that those two things are virtually impossible, Jen is home with her feet up for the foreseeable future. Nothing like a little forced sabbatical huh?

As for taking our place off the market, this was simply a decision that we couldn't avoid. Bad timing mostly, but the market conditions at the moment are less than ideal to say the least. All I can say is that if you're looking to buy a home right now, you're going to get a steal!

Below, Jen getting comfortable on the couch with her new body pillow. A position she might find herself in for the next 4 months. Something tells me she never envisioned that she'd be so excited to get a pillow for a birthday present. Atleast she has a smile on her face!?
