Since our little Tommy is not exactly a huge fan of "rolling with the punches", we began preparing for his upcoming ski-debut by trying his "moon boots" on for size. Assuming he'd refuse to put them on, we were shocked and totally unprepared when he began stumbling around the kitchen and refused to slow down.

We're ready for winter?!
So....bring it on!? We had our first dusting of snow the other day; the 5th latest date on record for Chicago's first snowfall. We're still hopeful for a white Christmas, but it's looking doubtful.

"Let me go!!"
Our attempt at a Christmas card...met with poor attitudes. You can almost tell by their expressions how ridiculous I looked trying to get a smile out of them.
"It's ok, Sista. Mom's crazy."
Margot supervised from the front door as we put up Christmas lights...with a little snow, you wouldn't even see (or trip on) the cord.

I actually got some wrapping done tonight...and it's not even Christmas Eve?!
