Backyard Fun

The raspberry bush has exploded, and Tommy has learned how to spot the ripe berries on his many passes throughout the course of the day.  No wonder he's not eating much these days...he must be consuming hundreds of raspberries.  Below, Pat couldn't resist picking a few for his oatmeal...or his ice cream!

It's "National Cherry Festival Week 2012", AKA, "If You Live In Traverse City, Get The Heck Out Of Town Week".  Despite the recommendation to "stay away", we've enjoyed a good number of the the festivities including the carnival, the kids' parade, and the air show, which we watched from the back porch while the kids "napped". 

Even the white-noise couldn't drown these guys out...

We are thrilled to be a pit-stop for any and all friends traveling north...the Pelletiers are some of my friends from residency who stopped by on their way to Mackinac Island.  Margot was so happy to have Josie around, who is much sweeter than her big brother.
