The "Wright" Weekend

Ben Wright is an infamous voice in the game of golf, mostly for his unfiltered commentary of the British Open, which ultimately cut his career short.  So, he comes to Northern Michigan once a year to announce a tournament at Crystal Mountain, where we spent a few awesome days hanging out watching the boys play golf!
Tommy has been wearing the fire helmet everywhere lately...maybe a front-runner in the Halloween race?
He only carries his blankie while off-duty.
Margot waiting for Dad at the 19th hole.
Uncle Willie has a very sophisticated remote-controlled car, which easily grabbed the kids' attentions, but had them nervous enough to run to the nearest lap. :)
The safe zone.
Tommy gave Urban and Margot their first golf lesson in the yard.
Then tried to get them to touch the frogs in the pond...
Supervision has arrived!
Tommy (sunglasses proudly worn upside down) rations sweet potato fries and Urban uses Margot's milk for leverage.
Out of 72 teams in the tournament, Pat and Todd finished 2nd and made it to the final "shoot-off".  The kids loved being part of the gallery, which was a spectacular golf cart parade!
Pat making his approach shot.
Love the ski hills in the back.
We had to stay ahead of the golfers as our etiquette is lacking.
Planning the putt.

Our incredible neighbors walked by the awards reception and noticed how bored the boys were, so they scooped them up and took them for an adventure walk.  Thanks again, Kamps! :)
"Hey Mr Kamps, what do you want on your pizza?"
Margot chasing her cookie with bubbles.
"Everything is bon!!"
Margot did more snacking than swimming.
What a fun weekend!  Great job, boys!
