A Wet Day For Irish Fans

This weekend was the long-awaited "Superfriends Reunion" tailgate before the Notre Dame-Michigan game. Unfortunately, with this event planned months in advance, it was tough to forecast the perfect weather for the occasion. We hosted 40-some enthusiastic tailgaters from 3 generations. Thank goodness the rain let up enough for some great pics of the gang...

Even Gus got to come along for his first tailgate...since he's not a huge fan of crowds (or doing his business on cement), he stayed happy (and dry) in the car nearly the entire time.
Pat smoked 12 lbs of pulled pork overnight, but still battled the rain to finish the menu...thanks, Pat!

We ran up to Grandpa's after the game for a quick visit and to say goodbye to our good friend Dyanne...Crystal won't be the same without her.
Headed to East Lansing this weekend for more ND football and family...Tommy's going to be a tailgating pro.
