Spring has Sprung

Well, at least for the past few days...it's supposed to be a balmy 35 degrees and snowing next weekend. Perfect for Pat's first golf tournament of the season!
As if we have any control over the situation, we have scheduled Bad Gary's forced evacuation for ONE WEEK FROM TODAY! Of course Gary ultimately calls the shots, so we'll see if he/she makes a fool out of us for trying to trump the plans. Ironically, Tommy has noticed the odd protuberance recently. He'll acknowledge the belly, then look directly into my eyes as if to say, "what the heck is that thing?"
With spring in the air, Tommy and Gus BOTH whine at the back door until we give in and take everyone outside for some fresh air.
A helping hand down the scary step.
I'm ONE.
Spring training for soccer, basketball, baseball and tennis....anything with a ball.

Pat gives Tommy incentive to throw the ball by showing him that in rare instances, Gus will actually retrieve it.
"Throw it!"
First time with bubbles...
Some of the latest tricks: clapping on command and showing "How big is Tommy?"

He feels right at home in the dirt...
A trip to the park to check out the scene...

Tommy's time as an only child is winding down...more fun stuff in the plans this week until our little world gets flipped upside down! Heaven help us...

  1. That's a precious picture - him touching your belly. "Ball" was Patrick's first word. You all are about to be in for it! Can't wait until next Thursday when we arrive to see the newborn! Love Grandma and Grandpa Ed.
