Cousin Power and ND

The New York Bautch cousins drove in for ND's first home game this year, which is a perfect excuse for a mini family reunion, so the Morris and Schaffler cousins packed up the cars from Chicago for a weekend of fun.  I will do my best to withhold my comments on the game.

Margot gets her first glimpse of the dome.
On our way to the tailgate.  Wheels on the grill and cooler are a must, and double as an addt'l stroller.
It was a miserable 98 degrees, but the kids managed through it pretty well.
A skirt on a hot day like this isn't a bad idea actually.  You can only pull off the skirt with a mustache though.
Grabbing what little shade we could while we had the chance.
Group photo opp.....did Tommy know something about the upcoming game that we didn't?
Back at the house for the game.  It was a weird day with some crazy weather.  The stadium was evacuated twice during the game, which meant the grilling happened from the garage back at the house.
Aunt Sue doing her best to put on a smile during the game.  Reid and Austin wear their emotions on their sleeves.
Reid, where are your pants?

It was a fun, sweaty day at Notre Dame, but the game stung more than the sunburn.  Atleast Coach Kelly finally realized who the qb needs to be.  He might have been the only one who didn't know Rees was the man before the game though.  Here's to hoping for a quick rebound next week again UM!
