Mother's Day 2012

Starting off another post with a realization of how life is passing us by without keeping up with the blog.  We're working on turning this around, and we'll certainly have plenty to discuss in the coming weeks.

Alright, let's go with Mother's Day 2012!  Below we tried to recreate last year's slug fest from Mother's Day, with somewhat similar results.  Margot is beginning to tolerate her brother less and less these days.

I love this picture.....you can almost hear her thoughts as she shoves his arm away - "beat it!"

Ahhhh, just Mom and me at last.....which is basically her only happy place lately.

Margot's growing freedom includes feeding herself.  Cheese ravioli with marinara is always a good decision as long as it's followed by bath time.

We're finally entering Summer temps around here, which means it's time to hose off the vehicles.

Unbeknownst to her, the dance party was getting ready to turn into a wet t-shirt contest...

After soaking his sister and his Mom stepping in, the look on his face says it all.  Fair enough my friend, she may have had it coming.....but still, don't water your sister.

She's a slow learner I guess.....she showed up for more.

Gus was the next victim, although he may have noticed that watering the dog doesn't quite get the same reaction out of his parents that watering his sister does.  Filing that away for future reference.
