We have looked forward to our week in the CI all year! We left 4 feet of snow and 0 degree temps for sun, 80 degrees and cousins!
It even brings out the best in the kids. I heard from the porch "Hey Sissy, wanna hug?"
Tommy and Reid entertaining themselves at lunch.
Until they discovered the rooster on the other side of the fence..
Day #1: Margot isn't sure what this is all about.
Every morning we wake up to see the cruise ships coming to dock.
That water can't get any clearer.
Even though these goggles didn't fit, Tommy insisted on wearing them. Poor kid had water in his eyes all week.
Sad, but this was the cousin pic of 2013. Better luck next year!
The Schaffler gang led the parade to the beach every morning. Early birds get the worms!
We survived one night out to dinner with the help of Mickey Mouse on the phone and plenty of ice cream.
Tommy's only bath of the week.
Lots of lounging.
Thank goodness for this dump truck that "hauled away the sand" all week!
It even survived a trip to the shop. The look of concern in Tommy's eyes below says it all.
Sunsets every night!
Couldn't quite get all eyes on the camera at once for a family shot...
Happy hour!
One of the great things about cousins is getting to experience new things like popsicles!
Learning how to water the plants will come in handy this Summer....
Alhtough using chlorinated pool water may not have been the best idea.
Sunrises, coffee and takin'r easy.
Nothing better than a beach trip in the middle of Winter. The 2014 trip is already booked!
