We were honored that the Morris family came to visit us for "Spring" Break! (Where we spent most of the time playing in the mounds and mounds of snow!)
We packed up and headed to Mt Holiday, (where Pat and I crushed the Beer-ski League this winter..ha) so the kids could give tubing a try. As you'll see, this wasn't just "tubing"...this was "tubing".
The dude at the ticket counter didn't say a word as we purchased tickets for the whole team, including our youngest participants...below, Margot's face says it all. "You're sure about this?"
After the first run...Tommy is still stunned.
Callie is trying to climb out of her tube into her dad's lap. This is the equivalent of trying to jump out of a moving car.
The only "rule" was that each person needed their own tube, which meant Margot had to ride solo...
"MOM?!? WTH!?!?" (The baron hat and scarf were perfect!)
We deserved a beer after getting out alive.
Love this one of the cousins.
Our cripple Katie was forced to wait for us in the warm lodge with a cocktail in hand...poor thing! ;)
I don't put many videos on the blog, but here's the live run. 40MPH!!?
