Notre Dame Football 2013

Labor Day Saturday we spent at the Notre Dame home opener against Temple.  The Bautch and Morris cousins also made the trip in for the game, along with grandma and grandpa.  The kids still haven't earned a ticket to go to the game, but we're becoming experts at tailgating!  It always makes me smile to see the entire family decked out in ND gear...Grandma and Grandpa should be very proud of their little ND army.
It's always a little chaotic, so Margot took comfort in Ava.
A rarity at ND tailgates...room to spread out.
Another highlight of Labor Day weekend 2013- Erin Cowell gets hitched!  Below, all the Superfriends and offspring at the rehearsal dinner.  Clearly, none of the mothers got to catch up in any way, shape, or form with all of the kids on the loose, but thankfully the wedding was a marvelous adult-only event, where many memories were brought to life...
A bold move to hang the flag for all to see for the Michigan game...which we promptly took down after the dreadful loss.

We may not be number one, but the kids are clearly on board the Irish train- the echo of the fight song can be heard repeatedly on football Saturday around this house...win or lose.
