Lots to be thankful for!
In the spirit of the upcoming holiday, we are quite thankful to have Tommy's spinal MRI behind us, and even more so that there is no surgery in his future! He was a champ throughout the whole process- he took the sedative in one gulp, to the nurse's surprise and delight. (I will keep this little factoid in mind when he enters his teenage years.) Pat and I spent the rest of the day at home lounging around with our sleepy-T and celebrating the close of this chapter, finally.

Last weekend we went up to Michigan for Dan and Julie's wedding- it was such a fun "family" affair and we are so happy for them!
The parents enjoyed a late night out sans the little men! Melis lit it UP on the spoons!
Great-great Uncle Ivan has bestowed on Tommy a dinghy that he and my dad hand-crafted in the 60's. Tommy got to check it out while we were home and Grandpa promised his first sailing lesson this summer...life jackets are in order!
Up next....our little crawler!
