Emotional Days

Tommy has been wrought with emotions over the past few weeks- the poor guy's frontal lobe must be under construction...we're hoping this roller coaster will smooth out soon!
Below, Tommy "accepts" his 3/2 birthday gift...his first Notre Dame jersey. We hope his reaction isn't a sign of things to come...we know it's tough to be an ND fan these days.
And the brainwashing begins...
He still doesn't understand our amusement with the shirt....
With a little persistence, we turned his frown upside down! Go Irish! :)
Gus also showed some persistence and won over his heart and his snack.
Hard to tell who's happier...
Tommy thrives on "challenges"...while lugging the wagon around the yard, he found himself in the line of fire of the sprinkler and completely lost his sensibility. Despite getting soaked, he refused to ditch the wagon.
He's a pretty cute carry-on...
Margot is broken at the present time...she has become fond of the darkness and doesn't care to waste time sleeping. Her cheeks are growing in proportion to the rest of her!
Watching the storm from the back door...
Hangin' out watching the rain...notice the flourishing herb garden!
I admittedly don't get to the grocery store as often as I should to get proper nourishment for the growing boy...here he is cleaning up the veggie drawer with a green pepper.
Pat hit the nail on the head when he said we're probably the only folks who'd get a kick out of an afternoon at the Annual Pierogi Festival...only in Indiana!
Tommy's first merry-go-round ride!
Pat did a lot of single-parenting this weekend while I was on call. Here's what I walked into on Sunday afternoon. Good work, Pat!
Tomorrow we're celebrating 18months and 16 weeks...with a good meal and a bottle of wine. :)
